I work as a librarian in a genealogy center, and many of our local church records are in german gothic script. I also have a personal interest, since my family comes from Austria. I LOVE this book. It contains great examples, commonly used german terms, and other aids that will really help the family researcher.
A good resource for German language through time
This is a terrific resource. I highly recommend it.
The very best book I've found for the hard task of a non-German reading or speaking family historian working with 19th century Lutheran church documents.
